Spreading the Love

Happy Friday!!

Thank you all so much for your kind comments on my last post :).

Since it’s Friday and if you’re like me, you’re ready for the weekend, I thought I would start the post off with some cute pics of Zoey. This first one is of her sleeping. At first it doesn’t really look that interesting…

But upon closer inspection, you will notice her tongue is sticking out haha.

Yes, my little cutie pie apparently likes to stick her tongue out when she’s sleeping sometimes. Haha she sort of reminds me of the goofy heyena, Ed, in The Lion King.

On second thought, Zoey is much much cuter. Just look at that face and green eyes :).

Her new favorite spot to lay in my room

Anyway, the other day I came home from class and was super excited to find a package waiting for me on the front porch. And then when I opened it and discovered it was from Love Grown Foods I got extremely giddy!

I have seen this stuff all over the blogosphere and I haven’t been able to find it anywhere near me. I am incredibly thankful that Love Grown Foods sent me some of their granola to try!

And let me tell you, this stuff definitely lives up to the hype! It is incredibly tasty and the ingredients lists are fabulous. So far I’ve just been having handfuls of yumminess, but I can’t wait to try the granola other ways as well!! I also read their story on the website and was sold even more.

I like this stuff so much that I literally have been shoving it in my face. No seriously, I have. I don’t take small little handfuls and delicately put the food in my mouth. I’ve been shoving it in and I’ve definitely made some messes haha. Yea, it’s so good that eating etiquette kind of goes out the window ;). Thanks again Love Grown!

Oh, and Zoey thanks you for the box haha.

I think I’m going to forgo my regular gym routine today and try a cardio kickboxing class! I keep forgetting that my membership includes free classes. I haven’t taken a kickboxing class in over a year, or maybe it’s been even longer. Let’s hope the instructor is good and gives me a good butt-kicking 😉 (hehe get it…kicking? I’m a nerd, I know).

Hope you all have an awesome Friday!

Have you tried the granola from Love Grown Foods?? Did you like it?

What’s your favorite way to eat granola?

Have you ever take a kickboxing class? What did you think?

  1. I just did a post on Love Grown yesterday too – I LOVE the stuff! Haha when you were talking about shoving it in your mouth and making a mess… TOTALLY me! I was laughing because I’ve definitely been doing the same thing. I don’t think I’ll have a problem finishing the stuff.

I really enjoy kickboxing! It’s probably one of my favorite group cardio classes to take. Group classes are one of the things I miss the most from belonging to a gym. They’re so fun to mix up your workout routine and pushes you a little more from your norm. Have fun!

    • Haha yes! I’m glad I’m not the only one who shoves it in and makes a mess ;). The kickboxing was great…totally made my body work in a way it’s not used to so that was nice!

  2. I am obsessed with Love Grown – I eat it straight from the bag!

  3. I’ve never tried Love Grown granola but I would love to, their granola looks delicious! I love topping my yogurt or oatmeal with granola..sometimes I’ll just eat it out of the box or bag 🙂

  4. Chelcie @ Chelcies Food Files

I have never tried love grown but I have seen it all over the nag world and realy want to! My favorite way to eat granola is by the handful:)

  5. Oh my goodness your kitty is so so adorable! I am glad you changed your mind about the last one, it looks like you have a real winner here 🙂

And yes their granola is rather delish! I have the cranberry-almond one in my room right now

  6. I’ve been wanting to try Love Grown granola!!! I can’t find it either. Usually my favorite is homemade though 🙂 Happy Friday!

  7. My dog does the SAME thing when he sleeps!! It’s hilarious and he always dreams and twitches with his tongue out 🙂

I just reviewed love grown, IT IS AMAZING! You are going to love it. Almost all my bags are gone and I’ve only had it for a week!! haha it’s dangerously delicious.

  8. Ahh, I am jealous of your Love Grown goodies! I can’t find it anywhere near me either! So disappointing. Dawn from Blonde on a Mission sent me the cranberry pecan one to try out and I was DYING for it. I rarely order things online, but I may have to buck up and do it.

I have said it before and I will say it again, Zoey is so cute! And I am so glad she’s working out for you!

  9. Your cat is too cute! I have a picture of my dog from when he was an itty bitty puppy and he is sleeping with his tongue out – it’s my favorite!

I’ve never tried Love Grown granola – I’m never really satisfied when I buy granola (I usually just make it), but maybe I’ll give it a go if you’re saying it’s shovel-worthy 🙂

  10. I haven’t been able to try it yet, so bummed because everyone RAVES about how awesome it is!!

  11. Awww your kitty is so cute! love the tongue sticking out LOL

  12. I love your cat! Such a cutie! My dog, Boo, also sleeps with his tongue out 🙂

I’m actually not a big granola fan…never have been!

I love kickboxing classes. My favorite is Turbo Kick, but I may be a bit biased since I teach it 🙂

  13. Yum! I am soo jealous of all that granola love! I eat it anny way! Haha 🙂

  14. Yes! I love Love Grown. They are seriously the only granola I will eat.

  15. hehe, my dog does that too. I love it. So cute. It means they are sleeping so well, eh?

GO LOVE GROWN! They are amazing and of course, my favorite!!

  16. Aww Zoey is so so cute!

Ooh kickboxing sounds like fun, I hope the class went well!

I love granola mixed into greek yogurt, preferably with some fresh fruit 🙂
